The Embed Module is a module that serves to integrate an external web page or web application into Xperify. A URL is used in this regard. The URL is embedded in an application and is displayed in full screen on a wall. 

Remark: It is only possible to use an embedded module in the lobby. The click behaviour of an embedded module is not synchronized in the event of a call between the host and visitors.

Remark: it could be that certain external websites may block embedding. The requested URL will then not load.

When you click on “Embed Module” in the module menu, you will get an overview of all existing Embed modules and a button to add an Embed module.

General functionalities

• Delete an embed module: the entire module is deleted

• Duplicate an embed module: the entire module, including all its contents, is duplicated

• Cancel an embed module: all changes that were made before saving can be cancelled via the cancel button

The management of a media show consists of:

Basic

• Module name: internal work name

• URL: full URL, including eventual query parameters (if this is incorrect, a message will be given on the deployment pc)

Remark: no distinction is made between the different available languages

Webinar

The embed module can be used to insert live webinar events. Your visitors should not log in via the live event, but simply in the Xperify lobby.

1. Go to the video that you would like to share

2. Click on share

3. Click on ‘include’ or ‘embed’

Copy the https link into the embed module

If you want to video to autoplay, you’ll need to the following at the end of the URL:

?controls=0&autoplay=1

The URL will look like this:

2. Click on ‘share’

3. Copy the https link that is visible in the embed field into the embed module
