General
Within our innovative software platform Xperify, our Scenario Management System is the backbone that sets us apart. This advanced system is not just a feature, but rather the core of Xperify.
There are some basic functions we start with:
General functionalities
Delete a scenario: The entire scenario is deleted
Duplicate a scenario: the entire scenario, including all its contents, is duplicated
Cancel a scenario: all changes that were made before saving can be cancelled via the cancel button
Basic
The following settings can be set:
Name: internal work name
Theme: Within each scenario, users can select a theme that customizes the look and style of the interface. Whether it's a sleek business look, a playful design, or a dark mode, the theme choice allows users to customize the visual presentation of the application to their own taste.
For more information about themes, click here.Active scenario: if this button is on, your scenario is active in a physical showroom.
The available languages: you can decide which languages are allowed to be active
Keypoints
Within SMS, keypoints play a crucial role in telling your story. They can be seen as chapters in the story, allowing you to guide your visit step by step through the experience. You determine the device deployments per keypoint. This is literally the mapping between the created applications and the available devices. If this concerns LED lighting or other specific devices, the presets are also included in this mapping.
Scenarios consist of a minimum of 1 key point. For more information about keypoints, click here.
In order to create a keypoint, press the green ‘add new key point’ button.
In order to edit a keypoint, press the blue edit button
In order to delete a keypoint, press the red delete button
Keypoints can be put on ‘non-active’. They are then not available in the frontend.
General
Name: internal work name
Key point description: short description of the content of the key point
Duration: you can give a key point a duration; this determines how long a key point can be active and when it can automatically switch to the next key point. If you do not want this to happen automatically, activate the ‘hold’ button.
Remark: the first key point of your scenario should not have a ‘hold’ action active
Remark: the key points are set to 1 second by default; this is best adjusted if you want to see a realistic result.
Tip: if no automatic transition is to take place, set the duration to the maximum, which is 23:59:59Fade in/out: this only applies to controlled lighting
Device deployments
The device types can be link to an application in an exhibit with device deployments.
Click on the button ‘add device deployment’
Choose the exhibit in which you would like to work
Choose the device type within this exhibit
Presets: only available for IO device types
Choose an application
Add to list
Tip: if not all device types need to change in the next key point, you can assign only a new application to the device types that need to change. The other devices will continue to display the applications from the previous key point.
