Preview

A notable feature of our DMS is the “Preview” button for each device. This allows you to view in real-time on your own computer what is currently displayed on the screen of that specific device. This is useful to ensure that the content is displayed correctly and to identify any problems immediately.

Steps to use the preview function:

You can open an online preview in your browser for each type in your exhibit

1. Go to Xperify dashboard

2. Go to exhibits

3. Choose your device

4. Click on the ‘preview’ icon of the desired type

5. The preview opens in a new tab

Attention: if your application starts with a video, you must click in your browser during loading. Otherwise, Chrome will not load the video.

 Set resolution on own laptop screen:

1. Click ‘right’ on the opend window

4. Choose ‘inspect’

5. A new popup ‘DevTools’ opens

6. In the top: you can find the dimensions

Open

7. Change the dimensions to the correct resolution.

   1. FullHD: 1920x1080 px

   2. 4K: 3840x2160 px

Attention: if you don’t see the dimensions in the top: Click on the icon in the left corner of the ‘DevTools’
